The Gardner Farm

West Townshend is about 3 hours from Boston, 4.5 hours from New York, and 30 minutes north of Brattleboro by car.

By Plane:

The nearest airport is the Springfield/Hartford Bradley International Airport, but Boston's Logan Airport may be more convenient for most people flying in.

By Car:

From Boston, take Route 2 west or the Mass Pike to I-91. From New York City or the District of Columbia, take I-95 north towards New Haven and continue on I-91.

From I-91, go north to Vermont exit 2. Leaving ramp, turn left and proceed to downtown Brattleboro. Turn left on Main Street and look for Route 30. Follow Route 30 to West Townshend. Immediately after passing through the village, Worden Lane bears off to the left. The Gardner Farm is the first house on the left beside a tennis court. (If you get to the intersection of Route 100, you have missed the turn. Go back 1 1/4 miles.)
